I figured the point i was trying to make was obvious.. i have never worked for this company.. never heard of it.. i am in southern colorado.. not michigan... i got a phone call.. they asked for me.. at my phone number.. asked what my eta was to a job in michigan.. i explained that i dont work for this connections company.. nor have i ever heard of them.. i currently work for a small retailer in the area i live in.. have for several years.. i think the prime in this area is wildwood or something like that.. so i know its not from this area. I am worried about maybe my iformation getting out a while back or something and some assjack is out doing installs on my name because hes a convicted murderer or something.. not to mention i would have to have the IRS show up at my door for not paying taxes on work i didnt know existed. or getting blackballed from dtv or whatever else cause some jackoff decided to go hack up some old woman cat in the burbs of detroit. but the fact is i have NEVER worked for directv or any of its 'primes' .. i am a contractor and mainly stick to the smaller retailers.. because.. well face it.. retailers get a name in the area they are in.. they dont just fly in and fly out... so hence.. i dont get the chargebacks.. i dont get all the political shit wash that alot of the primes feed down to their techs.
