Its been 15 yrs sence I contracted to do locates and I charged 10.00 per locate address ( included one feeder span and one drop ) 1 dollar extra per drop in same ped or each additional feeder span trunk in seperate trench and not in same ped was 5$ extra.. The big question is how much insurance you need to provide and how much the will charge you per miss mark (cost of materials + labor+truck time+ customer credit or loss of customer). System did not have fiber at the time would be alot higher for fiber.And do the provide accurate maps and do they charge you for a miss not on the map.Do they provide the paint and flags or do you this changes the price. Lots to think about.
