Agreed. But that is where I get conflicted. If they sell of the assets, they usually are run better and for less. And I dont wont the government to be any larger than absolutly needed. But I am fearful that they will take the proceeds of any sale of taxpayer financed assets and use them to start new projects with the "windfall" and make the problem even worse. Money is a drug to a politician, espescially if it is not their own money they are spending.
