Why is it they we allow the pols to do this? Why is it that a politician can say they are standing up for anything that they have to sneak into another bill in the dead of the night. This technique is the one sen reid refers to as the nuclear option. It is a crying shame they cannot allow a bill to pass or fail on its own merits. They do this so they have cover on the news shows by saying what could I do? I couldn't sink the whole bill could I? It is a sham.
