I truely feel for you, I had a Golden mix, for 17 years. Here is a thought though, when my Bair was 13 he had a mild stroke, walking into walls, pissing in the house etc.Vet said not much to do, but said try keeping him stimulated during the day when he was alone; he said get a cat see what happens. Got a kitten that pestered the shit out of him,four weeks later he was acting normal,Vet said sometimes the brain re-wires itself, enjoyed my dog over four more years after that.Just an idea!
