Authorities: Driver rams man over trash dumping
A man driving a gold and white Chevrolet truck rammed a man in his vehicle three times after a dispute over dumping trash, Pinellas Park dispatchers said. The truck driver was dumping items in the 11900 block of U.S. 19 N shortly after 2 p.m. Sunday when Brian Smith, 25, confronted him.
Smith, who was in an all-terrain vehicle, blocked the driver, who drove into Smith's vehicle three times. Smith's left leg and arm were injured.
Authorities described the truck driver as a white man with long black hair, between 30 and 40 years old. The name Knight Enterprises/Bright House was on the truck, and its tag partially read G10X, authorities said.
