I don't know why its giving you a tough time. I combine kaku dishes and internet from tw and charter all the time. I have noticed that some diplexors can't handle the voltage. I buy a higher quality diplaxor than most. I dought that is your trouble. I wonder if maybe you have the diplexor in backwards. Or maybe its not your fault at all. It might be that the dish was put up by a schmuck and its not peaked. Maybe the diplexor is just enough insertion loss to knock off the receiver. Im betting on the diplexor in backweards. Let me know.
