as far as the original question goes, I wouldn't do it. I did this with my wife. I had a nice 32ft 5th wheel with 1 large slideout. She hated it. She hated the shower, so we parked in an area that had showers. She hated walking to take a shower. She hated the no seperate rooms. This girl is very outdoorsy type, works on cars with me, and doesn't wear makeup (she doesn't need it, she's always hot). But she hated the camper. She hated the companies I worked for. She hated the supervisors I had. I wouldn't ever do it again. If you are going to travel atleast go with a cable company. Most will train you if you have done satellite. There is nothing to it and most cable contractors are required to submit their payroll to ensure you get paid. I wonder why DirecTV doesn't do that???
