I couldn't agree more with you cablemn86. A house burned down around here (NOTHING to do with an installer or install) and was rebuilt. A REALLY nice house now that shames the old one that burned. They had cable installed. Instead of running the drop with the power the installer in all his wisdom ran the drop to the front corner of the house totally seperate from the rest of the utilities. Looks totally out of place and very shabby. If I were the homeowner I'd be pissed.
About 7 houses down from the newly rebuilt house another home is being gutted and refitted and will be super nice when finished. They chose satellite. I saw the van. Nice, newer, clean. Morons put the dish on the front corner of the roof. No reason to have not mounted it properly in the back out of view. Again a shabby install by my standards.
Whatever happened to integrity when installing?
