Yes I am a redneck and proud to be. Anyone can be a redneck nowadays regardless of skin color, but the term goes way back......
The word redneck came about years ago in the days of the wild west. Back when cowboys and indians roamed our land. The term was used to describe a god-fearing, american loving, neighbor loving, church going, family loving, hard working man who spent so much time working hard in the blistering heat to feed his family, make his tithes to his church and help his neighbor that the sun would burn the back of his neck causing it to stay a red color almost year round.
