You should still be able to get 6x16s for while. Venders are still making them. As for the reason, Maybe DirecTV felt the monkeys they hire couldn't figure it out. I know there are still some guys who are hard workers and do a good job, still working for DirecTV, which I have no idea why. So what are they suggesting using power passing splitters going to the 6x8's??? I would think that the 103 would get even more weak after you do that. Especially in a large commercial system. I've done military bases with over 200 irds off of one dish. I don't think the 103 would even exist once it got to the box.
