Forget the Class Action Idea!
It will take a long time. DTV will outspend you. IF you (we) win they can appeal. IF they eventually have to pay anything the award will be divided up among thousands of class members. This means small money. The lawyers will get a major chunk + expenses.
Besides, the whole point of HSPs and the rest of the the subcontractor scheme is to insulate DTV from you (we). They buy finished work and do not control the methods.
Do other work. Quit. Become an independent contractor. Fix the poorly done installs in your area.
