Employee / Employer relations are what they are. They have evolved along with the laws that regulate them.

Businesses have contracted with each other for services since day one. Contract law is taught in every college.

It is when employees are treated like contractors or contractors are treated like employees that things come off the track.

Someone has to pay for the costs of doing business. These costs eventually get passed on to the customer. Attempting to avoid this reality is another way of defining the problem. Profit is not a dirty word but telling customers some things can be FREE is a distortion.

Promising to pay for services and then not paying as agreed is theft of services. Submitting false invoices and presenting crap work as being done according to the agreed upon specification is also fraud.
