A bounced check is ILLEGAL no matter what they're excuse is. Get a hold of someone at the local office for charges to be filed. They will give them 10 days to make up for it, if they don't they will drop the hammer! You don't have to do anything but call the local D.A.'s office. If this is a Co. from out of state? Yep, you gussed it! FEDERAL Charges! Put it to them! Now!
