Guys,
The statement is a mess. What is needed is:
1. An Introduction outlining the history of CATV and Satellite installations.
2. A list of recent and long standing violations of existing laws.
3. A summary of court cases against system operators.
4. Recent violations of state laws...listed by state.
Something like the above gets sent to every state congressional representative and senator to the U.S. Congress.
And this will not make any changes.
Does the word "lobbyist" have meaning to you? ( From U.S. Grant, former president) These lobbyists go to Washington D.C. and explain the position of the CATV & SAT providers. What you guys are doing is sending a note that you are pissed off and don't like it much.
You might consider a limo and some clean hookers ( From a U.S. general officer named Hooker) at a few congressional member's D.C. addresses...but it must be deniable!
Anyhow...........AFTER sending this statement to all members of congress...you get it on TV. Show some installation techs being evicted. Show houses being burned to the ground because the competent guys quit when the rates went down.
Like that.
OR just walk away. Let the bastards hang their own dish!
