I am not so sure about the whole the oil companies blocked it. They could just as easily sell the technology to the public and make money of of it too. In some respects it would make their life easier with less refining and the tree huggers would not have a bitch with them anymore.

The other thing is, if there is this vast conspiracy to hide it, how is it keep so quiet. No one talked, in todays day and age of the internet that is hard to do. I also am involved in alternative energy and the first pieces of paper we had to sign point blank stated that if the technology is not used and manufactured, the intellectual right srevert back to the scientists who invented it. Not every one is out to screw everyone.
