Of course oil was a part of the whole deal there. But that is why when we have so much here, when the politicans block us from getting it and then spout off that we need to completely change what we are doing for energy independance I want to put my foot through the TV.
Oil is the life blood right now of our entire economy. Green technology is not rady for prime time, it is coming but it is not ready now. So why do we shoot ourselves in the foot on this every damn time we can? Wasn't the gigantic Dept of Energy created under Carter to develop our own enrgy sources in the US? We depend on 2 to 3 times more now than then. So why does it exist other than it has money to spend and the DC crowd never gives that up.
