Sat buddy is way better for Dish Network, but I prefer the birdog for DTV. When doing directv with a birdog you dont even need to look at the meter once you get used of it. I have had my sat buddy about 6 months and it does more then the birdog did and is more accurate for dish but I have problems with it all the time. You cannot pinpoint thresholds for dish with a b.dog but the sat buddy is overall a $650.00 piece of crap in my opinion.
