I remember that day well. I was in Pensacola Fl. I was getting a late start that morning and I was watching CNN and saw the report of the first plane hitting the tower as me and my wife were arguing over weather or not this was an attack and not an accident the phone rang. It was my son's High School Dean. He was telling me my son had just been expelled from school for fighting. I hung the phone up and watched as the second plane hit tower two. I remember looking at my wife and wishing that I had not won that argument. We were both speechless. When I went to pick my expelled son up at his High School I can remember the whole school was a buzz. Every monitor and tv was tuned to the coverage. Parents where showing up to get their kids. I remember the hallways full of students consoling each other. I was proud to see all these young Americans pull together as 1. That is where I was on 9-11-01.
