I only wreck out when there is existing floated, and I cut in the new. I am not sure where you saw an extension bracket on an active as they use C-Cor, unless your talking about the third piece off an active, and I always cut them flush with the tap/splitter. That would be me though, as I am the only one splicing on Montgomery. I guess I could have brain farted on one, but that's not likely. That or you may have been in a section that Primetech did, and again, Larry is pretty good about not leaving them protruding. Time Warner has been cut so lean, they don't have the manpower to QC, but Bear did tell me how nice all that was looking through there, so he must have looked at it. You have to admit, the splicing is tight!
