I middle of last year I became a member of a builders group, and work with a hand full of custom home builders.. (Thank god the market is still booming here)…Each job it different so each is priced out different. Bottom side so far would have to be around $1,200.00 top side was just a hair over $5,000.00
Stuff is not what it was 10 years ago.. you just can’t slap in some RG6.. we run full automation with a HT rack in a closet. Most of my stuff now all runs off CAT5e, I still have the boys pull cable in for off air but for the most part the days of wiring have changed… Plus you pull lines for more than just tv and phone.. you have hot water sensors, motion sensors for lighting ect…
Than you can also get with the builder and sell a Home theater package, they love to offer a media room.. so it’s a win win for everybody…
