How is it possible that there is such a drastic swing in rates from one contractor to another?
I have installed DTV all over the country and have always made at least 80/20. The only exception is back home where you have to be an employee. Socialists have taken over there!
I understand making a little less if you have a company paid rig/drop/gas but c'mon?!
Once you have everything paid for using your own rig etc doesnt cost $20.00 + per job.

I have learned to not even answer an ad on here if it doesnt have a rate. When it says competitive or just piece rate they are way under paying. Then you get these goof balls that try to tell you DTV pays differant in differant areas? I have literally done this coast to coast making 80/20 for a long time now. Who are these people kidding the rates simply cannot vary that much market to market. If they do that is messed up because your cost as a customer does not change market to market does it?
Now Im doing dish for 90/30 but its all service calls. WTF?
