I was researching the Nagant last night and there are a few available. I was surprised to see that most of them were rather inexpensive ($250-$350) One in excellent condition for $150 is a great buy. Hey Marty I respect your " not for sale " attitude about your inherited guns. Keep passing them down. I have sold inherited guns that have been in the same family for 5 generations or more. I cant imagine being the family member (asshole) that sells a gun that has been in the family for over a 100 years. Just for some quick cash. I sold a 39 year old NIB Marlin 45/70 drop block to a friend of mine a couple of years a go for $1100. It had a heavy octagon barrel and very nice engraving. I shot 3 500 gr. rounds out of it. Its like holding a small cannon to your shoulder. I have no desire to shoot it again.
