So y'all don't consider other parents as teachers or teachers along with parents being a part of 'the village'??? If my kid does something wrong at a friends house I'd expect the parents there to do something about it short of touching them...I know I do when my kids have friends over...And then I tell the parents what happened...I have always been thanked for caring enough to do something about it...Parents teaching is fine and the way it should be...Unfortunately however we as parents can't be around all the time so we must rely on 'the village' to teach them when we are not there...
