Hey...... I've heard them called gaffs before, maybe even used the term myself a time or two. And on the install side, you can work for years and never see anyone using them. Oh, btw, I can climb, better then most in their 50's or half my age for that matter. ;) ;)
Look at all these definitions of gaff, especially the slang ones..... kind of fits this industry now, lol.
