I would like to know how a gunsmith was able to make your Ruger blackhawk .357 shoot 9mm. Sounds very dangerous. I have sold several Blackhawks that come with 2 cylinders which allow you to shoot .357 or .38 special ammo. It is all about the bore of the barrel. The barrel must match the size of the ammo. I sold a Ruger Blachawk .30 caliber to a guy who fired something else in it. I cant remeber what the idiot put in the cylinder but it was not .30 cal ammo. He said it fit in the cylinder. He was very lucky to just ruin his gun.
