My family covers both ends of the spectrum, one side is primarily conservative, law enforcement types, the wifes side is union member democrat all the way. I rarely go to functions to spare her the fighting that always comes when I go. But I will not change my beliefs for anyone. They are what they are unless I can be proven to be wrong. I don't need a poll to know what I hold dear and true. Some people will have to go kicking and screaming but our country is at stake. I don't care who's feelings get hurt, the truth is the truth. I know it can get repetitive, but keep saying what needs to be said.
And if the crap with the school speech has not got you to thinking, you have to talk about politics with your kids. They may roll their eyes at you, but you have to give them the side that the schools never will.
