Damn right. Whatever it takes to get it done. If you feel safe doing it. Then it's safe. Hell, I had a run in with them during the Katrina work. They were out riding looking for violations: Saw me up on a pole, one d-ring out on one toe reaching to pull the lasher in. The woman yelled up at me "That doesn't look safe.'" I yelled back down " I'm thirty feet on a pole, what the hell is safe about any of that." I went on further to tell her that it wasn't safe to be under me without a hard hat because that lasher might fall on her nosey ass. She didn't stick around much longer.
