Uhh, well didn't mean to upset you. It happens with or without diplexers. I am talking about a existing system all you are adding is the two cable splitters. It is caused by bad cable the solution is to replace the cable. Btw the spliter trick is not a big secret. (it is posted on the dish net site.)
Besides that will the receiver even work with the diplexers hooked up the wrong way?
