Very true it is rare to get the money you are owed if you quit. Hell it is hard to get it when you still work for the guy. I am going through the same bs right now. In NC where I live you can take someone to civil court for $5k or less. You are guaranteed a day in court with the SOB and you want have a lawyer bleed you dry. It sucks that it has to be like this, but that is what you need to do. Turn the stuff in or get a lien on it. By taking a lien out though you will never get paid it will be up to you to sell the stuff and hope there is no recourse from it. I would take the bastard to court. It is what I am doing myself. Guy's name wasn't Brian Oakes was it?
