I agree with most of ya.  But, texting does have its place.  My wife knows that I am busy when I am working and I dont have all day to talk on the phone.  Instead, she'll send me a text for me to pick up somethng from the store or pick up some thing to eat on the way home.  Little things like that is fine.  Having a complete conversation like that is a waste of time and expensive.
