Speed, While I understand your sentiments, I am THE company man. My company.  1st bill paid is payroll.... ALWAYS...I don't pay paymyself until the employees are paid. That's how I've managed to survive in this business. Never have missed a payroll.   I'm not saying that stiffing the employee or a sub is right at all....I don't think that for a second....but I do know that lots of primes in some of the industry are slowing down the money flow.  I am being affected by it.  I've got a mortgage and a family to feed too.  I've got a kid with a chronic illness that needs medication so insurance is a priority for me.  I am not a prime, wish I was, but I can't compete with all the liars/thieves who are....Sad, but true.
