Re: What does Wild Blue pay?

Got the hughes certification 6 months ago, (tired of being ripped off) haven't done a job yet because it was good with Dove Digital, but did talk with Gtech, came back to Colo and things were fine until new MSP (TV Transport) tried to force me to do DTV, told him from day 1 that I don't do it.....kept bugging me about it.......then I blew up.

Pisses me off, I'm up until 1 am covering a job that another guy walked off from (after driving 100 miles at the last possible moment), I am due at 8 am 170 miles away the next morning, my day ended at 3am and the next day still gets done like clockwork.

 Think about it.

If I'm an MSP and a tech covers my tail, I don't screw with him.......not this guy, I guess it's all games with some guys. Even the guys that ripped me off never screwed with me on that.

 IMO

He just lost an easy $4000.00 a year, we maybe talked twice a week, what more could he have wanted ? I faxed, I RMA'd, I did it all. Customers loved me, my jobs were top notch.

 He blames DSI.

 So....who knows......maybe I will head to Hughes......

I have an offer to go east and do Wildblue only, thinking about it.

I have done Wildblue from Washington State to Texas, worst installs I have ever seen are in Texas, ripped up several jobs, including one that was attatched to a telephone pole and the RG6 hung from tree branches.

But the heat is rough and the caliche soil will beat you up. Seems like all the male customers want to do is argue, which is probably why the guy put it on the pole.

Thought Dove was great, just the other day I got another check from them, just about fell over.....wish they ran the whole USA. (Yes Virginia.....an MSP can be legit in this business)

So many of these things would be cleared up if they simply attatched a brochure to the outside of the ODU explaining the standards in detail, the packing slip would say READ IMMEDIATELY, once it's torn open, no way can they try to BS you....you got em.

The dapt is annoying, they need to chuck that thing from what I remember in training.

 And you ?
