Do the small claims court. That is what it is there for. Go to the court house where the work was done or where his office is or where you live. Make it the court most distant for him. Send him a bill for all monies owed. As the court for collection costs. The clerk at small claims will help...every state is different. Do it soon.
Anyhow...you may be able to file mechanic;s liens on the propertiws you worked on....get the homeowners on your side.
Get a judgment against this guy and take his money.
Post his name and company...see if he responds.
