Pliers..... it's called Kline 9's they are the universal measureing tool in the cable industry, they are not ment to tighten drop fittings, but they sure are good at knocking them loose, I used a shortie 7/16"x1/2" for the rg6 & 11 but the tourque tool is the best for installs, but a pain in the A** on retro splicing
just wish they put a better split socket on the tourque tool so that it didn't open, but I guess if they did it would not fit inside of the security shields
plus how many of you guys bitch about using a tourque wrench with a 9" handle trying to thread a drop fitting,grommet & shield inside of a 8" tap ped or a mdu
