You leaving the cabling in the dirt is nothing short of being a hack...Sorry but thats what you have been for the past 10 years if you do not do the job to spec...And I KNOW damn good and well no satellite company knowingly allows what you are doing...You may be getting away with it but that only goes to show how crappy QC is and that your continuation of doing this makes YOU a HACK...
Sorry to piss you off but someone obviously needs to tell you the facts...Do the job right...Be a professional...Don't be a source of the problem be part of the solution to stop the problems...Hell even running speaker cables under the house they get attached to the joists above...It is the professional way to do things...
