Not on my truck

Effective September 1, 2009
nationwide launch for all HSPs and Home Services teams
Policy
HSPs and Home Services shall place a “How Am I Driving?” decal on every
single technician’s vehicle and monitor driving performance on a regular basis.
A Decal is required on each technician’s vehicle at all times.
Overview
The Driver’s Alert program is a way for DIRECTV, Inc. to monitor vehicles driven by HSP
and Home Services technicians. This program will be fully funded by DIRECTV, Inc. It is
an excellent way to target training programs in needed areas and to monitor specific
drivers. This tool will help to pro-actively reduce the number of unsafe acts. With the
Driver’s Alert program, a concerned motorist calls into the DA call center and is walked
through a brief interview. Once the Incident Report is completed, it is forwarded along with
a link to an incident-specific driver training module to the appropriate contact for review
and follow-up. All management reports will be available on the DA interactive website.
The reports can be graphed or downloaded as an Excel or Word file and will be emailed to
DIRECTV, Inc. each month.
