OSHA has just written into their new standards that all underground utilities will be located by the Vac. method..no more hand digging with shovels, picks etc...
Standard 29 CFR 1926 Subpart P (Excavations)
The NUCA is fighting the standard saying it violates some states one call laws...we'll see how this plays out..sure glad I'm out of it..WTF is next, having a rubber chain on your trencher and a f***ing foam rubber bucket on your back hoe???
