True you can charge, but the one time I tried to charge a guy for a pole (40$) he told me to leave and he would just keep his cable. The jerk would not pay anything. So yes I paid for it.
At dish most of the customers are so broke anyway, I have to lock the doors on my truck so no one steals my GPS. And since dish etailers charge them and dish often charges for the equipment they think they have already paid for whatever. In other words there just aint no money left over. Yeah there is some side money to be had but not much and we are told we will be fired for charging for poles anyway (no one ever has.)
