Running the second line to tv2 is hardly ever needed, you can use the existing cable, hence the use of diplexers, unless there is no prewire, then you will need to run a line to that tv, but in that case, DTV would have to run that line also....and forbid it be a DVR ( unless your using swm) then you have to run 2 lines...and a phone line...

Poster is right, i've done both Dish and DTV, and i use about 50% more cable/supplies with DTV than i did with dishnetwork,  now the argument about custom money comes up, but IMO it still doesnt add up, dish is easier and pays better.
