Don't be too sure about that one. Lawyers make money off of lawsuits. Most pols are lawyers. Lawyer donate heavily to political campaigns. Draw your own conclusions.
I can only think of one time in my lifetime that a legislature did anything that directly affected a lawyers ability to sue and that was the limited tort option in Pa. And that started a shit storm here. Pols won't touch their golden egg.
