sorry, i didn't realize you are retired until i read you bio,,, now i've got a clue,, nothing better to do........ boy we are bored , a simple question why a retailer does one thing and bam, here we go,,,,, what does the nec code say is required to run a bond to the ground, seriously, it seems you have code book in front of you, i really don't wont to take the time to look it up, but i think its more than a 10g ,,,,,,that was my original statement , the unit is truly grounded when it is pluged in to the 110 outlet, but it grounds from there to the dish if not a break,,, thats why it does not protect the receiver, but its still grounded , just not to the optimum result.. by the way , you got the copy and paste thing down pat.
