I deal mostly in old MDU,
No attics or basement and mostly tile floors,
no soffitt running to outlet location,
Which ussually calls for coming out of Bathroom or closet soffit penetrating into B-room, over door down trim and along
baseboard, penetrating into wall above baseboard up to outlet height and mounting wall plate.
Most of these old condo's here either don't have Ao's in bedroom or are so old they need to be replaced,
And on the fancy one(cust willing to pay) I use interior molding.
And you cannot run wire on outside of building in most case's.
So staples work out great if attaching to trim and baseboard, (not drywall) and I don't use them outside,
