Same thing happened to me. I had a blower go out. They wanted proof of maintenance (oil changes). I couldnt produce a receipt, due to the fact, I change the oil myself (faithfully every 3,000). I told them not to work on it. We pushed it across the street and traded it in on a new 08 Dodge 3500. Best thing i ever did. The previous truck (F-350...diesel) only had 100,000 miles. I went through two oil pumps and the blower. This Dodge out powers it two-fold. If you change your own oil, write yourself a receipt.
