No disrespect New to Cable. But you need to gain a little more experience before you go inside a node or amp for that matter. All system specifications are different and not set up the same away. I recently worked a system that injected 38db at 28 megz. And another that Injected 40 db at 26 megz. Depends on the system and where they are running their downstream at. Some larger systems are running more than a few downstream channels. You are asking a question that can't be answered without more specific information. Like I said. Get some more experience before you go to jacking with the levels, because if you do you will have a problem that will get you into some serious difficulties. And really piss your supervisor off.
