Yeah Island..blues and browns are pretty easy to find..actually the wine colored and purple are worth alot of money..very rare..they would be marked with the name AB Chance and the date..usually around the 30's...never seen one later than 1939 and I have six of them...usually find them on the RR stub pole communications construction...you know thw 20' pole with X arms with 20 insulators on them..I got these in Ariz..out in the desert..Old lines around Tuson..some down in Tombstone..just gotta keep lookin..If ya grab a purple 1930 it will go for around 6 to 900 dollars depending on the clairity of the glass with no breaks..start lookin on the RR tracks..If you are driving you will be fooled by the black rubber insulators until you stop and climb a few poles..looks like purple from the moving vehicle..Good luck...
