Yes we should be, but we are not. Philadelphia is a liberal town through and through. Philadelphia is so backwards, after the city started a program called "live stop" where police could tow cars on the spot for no license registration or insurance. It was started in Center City where all of the skyscrapers are. When the police went to expand it out to the entire city, the Mayor, John Street, actually made them put a moritoriun on it until every resident of the city was sent a letter informing them you need to have  a license etc. He was trying to find a way to kill the program because a good deal of those in violation were their poor voters. In its history that police actually had to see a weapon before they could draw their own.

I could go on for ever, but the panther issue is a joke. Could you imagine what would of happened if a buch of shaved head white kids tried this stunt? Racism has no place in this time, but politics got in the way on this one, plain and simple.
