Re: entry level

i am a sat installer (dish) since 97. i did cable for the first time in houston last october, did service calls and drop repairs. worked 12 hours a day 7 days a week and made 1800 a week for the first 2 weeks. the next 2 weeks i did new connects. lots of problems with dispatch and equipment. my pay was 500 1st week and 700 the 2nd week. comcast has issues in houston, guys i worked with where out of dallas and told me the pay in houston sucked compared to dallas. if your moving i would go to dallas and find data developement solutions, great company, they have respect for techs and pay on time. i want back to dish because i can make 500 to 700 a week (5 days) be home by noon everyday. but if you want to make more work longer hours. the other big difference is the amount of jobs per day, they are less when you do dish compared to cable. dish 1 or 2 a day vs 6 or 7 min per day for about the same money. cable is easier to get in too then sat installs. data develoment solutions gave up comcast and started doing directv in houston, they might train, they need good professional installers. if you need help pm me. be a pro always. hope this helps brother. and for the guys who want to critic my verbal and typing skills f+++ off. lol.

ps; the roads in houston suck ass.
