And the good thing is that in today's paper the dems were saying there would need to be republican support since many of the dems are not aligned with this. I am glad to see more planning and thinking and less rushing to get something through without any thought to it. More people need to be involved so a plan that won't bankrupt us more than we are can be materialised. Many of them agree that the government doesn't need to be involved in private enterprise. And while the heart strings go to those who can't afford health care insurance, they can still go to a hospital. Much of the illnesses today can be dealt with at home. So many more people will go rushing to the hospital when their kids get a cold that they can handle themselves at home it will choke the system. I might be wrong (I doubt it) but there is nothing in the constitution that says we have a right to health care or that the government should run it and we should pay for it.
