But then I think it is all in the timing. Plan to go into the 'hood early in the morning. Call the customer as you are arriving and have them watch your truck. Morning is good because the jive turkeys have been out all night and are now unconscious somewhere.
It always gave me a warm feeling to see the cops rolling folks out of townhouses I had visited that morning.
And I have had the children of friends visiting from Baltimore unable to sleep out here in the boonies because it was too quiet. They knew the pilots of the cop choppers and ran into the fields to wave. Gun fire from hunters was just another sound from home.
